Here's a (short :D) introduction of us!
I (Lohane) am a very curious person and I'd like to create and experiment as much as possible in my life and get out of the boring routine. I love to travel because I think it's the best way to find out who I am and learning more about myself. I've already worked as a volunteer in Finland for 6 months in a guest house, in Norway for 2 months with a reindeer herder and in Senegal in an NGO with children. I did it during my gap year in 2023. It was the best experience of my life.🤲🏼
I started studying psychology in 2024, but stopped for personal reasons. I think it's time for me to get back to the traveling life!
I (Valentin) have never volunteered before but I'm ready to start this adventure. I'm a very versatile person, who loves to discover new things and new people all the time, despite my average level of English (I work a little every day to change that), I love traveling and learning about how everyone lives their lives. I'm passionate about space, cars and sport in general. I got my driver's license a year ago. My goal is to become fluent in English, as we want to live abroad in the future. I studied and worked in the real estate sector, but I didn't finish my studies because I discovered that it was by traveling that I really learned what I needed to know.
We're lucky to find inspiration and interest in so many things. We're not afraid of the unknown! Our goal is to be able to move (for good!!) in Norway in 2025.
We've traveled together to Norway and Tunisia, and we're currently working together on a giant corn maze.
We're very open-minded, so it's easy for us to discover a new culture or way of life, because nothing seems strange to us.
