Description
I'm Lieke, 22 years-old and from the Netherlands. I enjoy slow travel and getting to know other cultures by engaging with locals/helping them out with their projects.
Although I cannot think of any specific or special skills, I would be happy to simply help out where I can. I'm keen on learning from new experiences and adventures, which is why I'm on this platform.
I previously had a great experience volunteering at a school in Nepal for around 5 weeks and got to make myself useful by cooking, teaching and playing with kids, doing some construction work, and working on art projects. Most importantly though I got insight into the local life in a rural Nepali village and lived together with people from all kinds of backgrounds.
My goal is to have more of these experiences and to retain an adventurous, open-minded and curious mindset!

Able to offer an extra pair of hands where ever you need help. Though I may not be the most efficient worker, I get along well with people (as well as animals), like being creative (painting, cooking, gardening), playing cards and enjoy teaching.
Skills i'm working on at the moment include learning basic Italian and being able to touch my toes while keeping my legs straight.
