I am currently a senior at University in Boston, USA and I am looking to do a Workaway this summer after I graduate in May!

Description

Hi! My name is Lauren and I am a 21-year old University student in Boston, USA. I grew up in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and love to ski, hike, surf, paddleboard, and camp– anything outside! I am currently studying abroad in Paris for the semester and would love to do a Workaway after my Program ends in April. I would love to find a Workaway that takes me outside whether that be in the mountains, on beaches, or in the countryside. I am a film student so I love to document the world around me through videos and photos; I also love working with children and have plenty of babysitting experience. I have previous Workaway experience in Greece where I worked to build hiking trails two summers ago and in Switzerland where I was an au pair. It was an amazing experience, and I am excited to meet new people and eager to experience different cultures through another Workaway this summer!

Growing up in the mountains of Colorado, I am very comfortable hiking, biking, skiing, camping, and thriving in the outdoors. I have also played sports throughout high school and college so enjoy work that may involve outdoor manual labor. I am a quick learner and very flexible with what tasks I would have to do. I have been babysitting since I was 10 and am CPR certified. I have previous experience working as a waitress and a barista in restaurants and understand how to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. I am a film and journalism student at University so very comfortable with any sort of website-building or marketing and editing projects! I am lucky enough to have traveled a lot throughout the years and through this have learned to be very flexible and go with the flow. Additionally, I have previous Workaway experience building hiking trails in Greece!
