I’m Laura from Brazil, currently living in Christchurch, New Zealand on a working holiday. I love meeting new people, experiencing different lifestyles and helping out wherever I can.
I’m no stranger to outdoor or physical work, and I really enjoy being close to nature. I’ve worked in hospitality while in nz and love being part of a team. In my free time I like painting, ceramics and other creative things.

I’m easygoing and reliable, always happy to help wherever it’s needed. I adapt quickly, pick up new tasks with ease, and once I understand the purpose of something, I stay very organized and focused until it’s done.
I enjoy working with people and being part of a team, but I’m also comfortable working independently. I’ve already lived abroad three times, in three different continents, which helped me develop strong communication skills and the ability to connect with people from all kinds of backgrounds — always with respect and curiosity.
My background in Brazil is in project management with startups, where I developed a love for innovation, green projects, and I am very good in turning project into tasks and breaking it down to dealines depeding on their urgency. On the creative side, I really enjoy painting, pottery, and any kind of transformation work, like upcycling clothes or giving new life to a room. I bring a positive attitude to whatever I do and love seeing ideas turn into something real.

I love being active — snowboarding, running, dancing, sports in general — and I’m also a big fan of board games (Catan, Uno, Dixit). I enjoy learning new skills, having deep conversations and connections and being part of a team. My true passion is being on the outdoors and also just love reading whenever I get the chance.
