Hi everyone! My name is Katie and I love travelling and experiencing different cultures and ways of life! I graduated from university last year (with a degree specializing in Neuroscience and Family and Child Studies) and am taking a couple of years off between degrees to experience the world! I aspire to be a midwife and feel very passionate about helping women, queer people, and children through my work. I am learning French at the moment so I am excited for the opportunity to practice my French. I love the outdoors, especially beautiful water, trees and mountains. I love any type of adventure. I am looking forward to meeting new people, improving my language skills, learning about new cultures, learning new skills, and exploring the world. I love crafty activities, such as painting, scrapbooking and crocheting. I am a very positive, energetic person, which is reflected in my willingness to work hard and try new things.

I have worked in various restaurants on and off since 2019, as a hostess, server, and training manager.
I worked at an outdoor summer camp in Ontario for 5 summers total, moving from Counsellor-in-Training to counsellor to support staff.
I worked at an international boarding school summer program in Switzerland as a counsellor for one summer (soon to be two summers).
I worked as a receptionist for 3 years.
I worked in a bakery for four years.
I worked as a ski lift attendant for one ski season.
I worked at a rock climbing gym.
I offer dog walking and sitting through a dog walking service (including staying overnight in the owner's house).
I have babysat family, friends, neighbours, and professionally since I was 13.

I held a live-in volunteer position at a Pregnancy Support Center as after-hours, on-call support.
