Hello :)
My name is Kennedy, I'm originally from the States but I like to say I'm more Australian, as I've been living there for a big portion of my adult life and I see it as my home.
Like most everyone on this lovely website, travelling makes me the happiest. I love to immerse myself in other people's cultures and way of life. I'm a very open minded and easy going person who honestly loves to do just about anything. I love being out and about in nature, hiking and exploring, gardening, landscaping, you name it. I also have a love for cooking, and really enjoying adopting other cultures' recipes and dishes to recreate on my days off.

I grew up on a farm, so a lot of my experience involves working outside on the land or with animals. There's not a fence I can't paint or a calf I can't bottle raise, haha. I've worked with cattle and horses almost my whole life, and I really really enjoy equine work the most. Horses have always been a huge love of mine and since moving away from home and travelling, it's a piece of my life that I'm definitely missing. I love to ride, and I have some experience in professional training from working in a thoroughbred yearling barn back in the Hunter Valley, Australia.
Aside from fark-work type experience, I've also been a nanny for over 5+ years, working with children ages 14 months to 12 years. My most recent experience would be from 2020, where I au paired in Sydney for a beautiful family with two young girls that I am still super close with today.
I have also spent over 2 years working as a forklift driver, so I am licensed to drive heavy machinery, although I may be a little rusty!

What else ...

Honestly, I'm just trying to learn how to live my life to be happier. In my opinion, that means living with as little negativity and as much fresh air as possible. I want to look back on my life when I'm old and be able to say that I made mistakes- but I was always kind, I ate good food, I met nice people, I was always adventurous and I never turned down an opportunity to learn something that I didn't know before.
