Description

We have been in a relationship for 10 years during which we’ve lived together, travelled together, and survived 8 months of long distance.

We enjoy living in the inner city suburbs of Melbourne, Australia however we love to balance this out with getting outdoors as much as possible. On weekends we enjoy going camping, hiking, fishing, swimming and skiing in Winter.

Kat also spends some time painting, doing DIYs, reading and playing team sports. Whereas Lachie has a huge passion for golf, keeping fit at the gym and cooking. Together we both also enjoy filling our social cups by playing social sport, hosting dinner parties and meeting new people on our travels.

Both of us are fortunate to have EU Passports and are looking forward to travelling, living, and working across Europe from mid-2024!

Whilst Kat’s day job consists of working as a physiotherapist in both the community and public hospital settings, Kat has a keen interest in DIY and has previously learned some handywork skills from her dad including painting, staining, sanding (manually and with electric tools), and tiling. Kat has also previously helped out with basic gardening at home with her mum.

Lachie’s work experience is in property valuations where he has worked for the previous five years. Prior to this he worked in hospitality as a barista at several cafes in the world-renowned café city of Melbourne, Australia. Lachlan has assisted his grandparents on their rural property with various tasks including mowing the lawns, painting, gardening and general maintenance associated with a hobby farm.

Both Katherine and Lachie are eager to learn and are able to pick up new skills quickly and efficiently!

We love playing cards (especially 500, monopoly deal and exploding kittens), playing board games and participating in social sport with friends.

We also love watching a good British murder mystery or dark comedy series.
