Description
We are Katarina and Mario, open-minded, easy-going and proactive couple from Slovenia, a small European country somewhere in between the Alps and the Mediterranean sea. For the last 10 years, we’ve been living in Berlin where we worked in a start-up scene, working on our careers. In our latest job, Katarina worked as a Marketing Director and Mario built his own company and run in for the last 3 years.

In between our time in Berlin (from 2017 to 2019), we took a longer break and went traveling around the globe for 15 months. We had a chance to spent 3 beautiful summer months in Australia, doing Workaway. These were one of the most fulfilling moments we had on our journey. We decided to bring our Workaway profile back to life and reexperience it.

Katarina and Mario stayed with us for the first week in March, 1st - 6th, and we had lots of laughs with them. They were clean, tidy and very respectful. Katrina & Mario worked well and ate everything that I placed in front of them :-) We would have them back in an instant.

I have spent one week at Donna's place and I really enjoyed it! She has a beautiful house not far from the city center with a lovely garden in the backyard. We really enjoyed meeting Katerina and spending a week with her and her partner Mario. Katerina is a bright friendly person,. Great in the kitchen cooking up interesting and delicious meals. We loved hearing her sing and play on the guitar and share a fun night of jamming together. We recommend katerina as a great workawayer to any future hosts.

Katarina and Mario were at our place while we were away on holidays. They were flexible to come meet us before we went away and were trustworthy to look after our place in our absence.

They did a great job looking after the vegetable garden, laying weed mats and cleaning windows. They are respoyand reliable.

We stayed with Tim and Elayne for 10 days and helped out with babysitting and cleaning. We took the kids to the beach and had a great time. Tim and Elayne are really nice and easygoing people.
