Description

My name is Kalinka, I have dual citizenship (Brazilian and Polish), a degree in Journalism and this has been my profession for over 25 years. I am also a healthcare assistant, trained by the Red Cross, and worked in the area for four years. I'm interested in take care animals, learning about permaculture and ecovillages, getting to know new cultures, improving languages. I love beaches, plants, animals, forests. I am empath, intuitive, active, calm and spontaneous. I've been an intern at a zoo, worked in hotel, restaurant, bar and art space. I was born in Porto Alegre, in the south of Brazil, I lived almost twenty years in São Paulo, two years in Portugal and four months in Ireland. I volunteered in two permaculture and agroforestry ecovillages (Sitiom and Comuna Floresta) and discovered the Tamera project, in Portugal. I am married to a visual artist and I have two adult daughters. I like writing, photography, I have intermediate English and Spanish and I would really like to improve them. My mother tongue is Portuguese. I love learning and doing outdoor activities. I work with commitment and motivation.

As a journalist, I acquired extensive experience in writing, interviewing, photography, filming, editing graphic and audiovisual projects, websites and social networks.
As a volunteer in ecovillages, I learned about vegetable gardens, permaculture, agroforestry, composting organic waste, dry toilets, bioconstruction.
I'm good at customer service, research and production, teamwork, assertive communication. I also know work alone. I am creative and organized.
I know ride horses, I love getting my hands on the land, being in contact with nature, learning and participating in projects.
