Hi! We are Júlia (31) and Jordi (32), originally from Barcelona, Spain, now based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. We both work in the sustainability sector—Jordi focuses on urban sustainability, and Júlia is a researcher developing sustainability standards. We love living and traveling in a slow, peaceful, and respectful way, and we’re always eager to learn from the places and people we meet along the way.

We’ve decided to take a few months off for a sabbatical to explore and get to know some regions of South America and take the opportunity to connect with local communities and contribute to agricultural and regenerative projects. In Amsterdam, we volunteer at a community-supported agriculture initiative, helping with activities like planting, weeding, harvesting, and fertilising. We’re excited to get more involved and share our enthusiasm for meaningful local projects.

Outside of work, we both love reading, meeting new people, cooking, and spending time in nature. We’re friendly, easy-going, and relaxed, and we enjoy physical and manual work, staying healthy and active through sports. As quick learners, we’re always ready to jump into new tasks and give our best effort!

We are currently part of a community-supported agriculture project in Amsterdam, where we actively volunteer in various activities such as harvesting, weeding, planting, and fertilising. We thoroughly enjoy working outdoors and are eager to expand our experience by taking on new challenges and learning more about agricultural practices.

We are also comfortable with any kind of manual and physical work, including general maintenance, building, construction, and repairing tasks. Both of us enjoy hands-on projects and are always willing to help with practical work around the house or farm. In addition, we love cooking and are happy to assist in the kitchen, whether it’s preparing meals. We also enjoy feeding and caring for animals.

Beyond physical tasks, we have skills in designing and hosting workshops, particularly in areas like design thinking, making us well-suited for educational or community-focused initiatives. We are proficient in the Microsoft Office package and the use of Google Drive, so we can assist with any administrative or organisational tasks as well. Both of us are experienced drivers, comfortable with cars and motorbikes, making us flexible in terms of transportation.

We are quick learners and always approach tasks with enthusiasm and a positive attitude!
