Description
My name is Josh Friedman and I have been working the last 4 years in pursuit of two goals: 1) to live, teach, and travel on every continent before the age of 30; and meanwhile, 2) to learn how the world learns. Most of my professional background is in the Challenge Course industry, facilitating group challenge experiences to create space for others to learn about social dynamics, leadership, and healthy intrapersonal composition through emotional control, passion exploration, awareness and perspective taking, and creativity challenges. I have worked with children my whole life from tutoring as a 15 year old to working in a summer camp pretty much since then, in school districts and in classrooms. I studied Philosophy and Marketing as an undergrad, and am currently in the process of applying for grad school in neuro-learning programs, designed to connect the islands between what we are learning about the brain, and thus what it means for how we ought to create educational experiences for youth. I also have experience with couchsurfing.com, using that site to get around before I knew about this one. Let me learn with and from you, and I will be the hardest working and highest quality workawayer you'll ever meet!
