My name is Josh and I am an artist, poet, musician, DJ/music producer, and professional translator from North Carolina who is passionate about seeing the world and learning new skills and languages! I speak a variety of languages including English, Spanish, French, Italian, Russian, Portuguese, and some Greek, Norwegian, and Czech. I love meeting new people and learning about their backgrounds and what makes them unique :)

My all-time favorite activity is sitting quietly in nature and watching the birds. Yoga and meditation are significant aspects of my daily life. I also enjoy skateboarding and have been a skater most of my life. When I am not engaging in the aforementioned activities, you can find me painting to some uplifting music or meditating under a tree.

I am a quick learner who always appreciates a new challenge or experience. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a BA in Spanish and am currently a professional translator who works remotely with several agencies across the globe.

My greatest interests include my yoga and meditation practice, bird-watching, and sitting quietly in nature. I prefer to be outside rather than inside as the serenity of nature always bring me peace. Working on farms and conservation projects is extremely rewarding to me and I intend to dedicate much of my life to the protection of natural areas.

I am also an electronic music producer/DJ (my music can be found under the artist name "iBeep uBop") and a musician (piano, drums, ukulele, violin, etc.), a poet (I have published rwo poetry books), and a painter.

As stated previously, I am a professional translator who works with multiple languages including English, Spanish, French, Italian, and Portuguese. I can also speak Russian as well as a little bit of Norwegian, Czech, Greek, and German. Language is my second major passion after music! I am a certified TEFL teacher ("teaching English as a foreign language") with additional certifications in teaching business English and teaching English to young learners, in addition to holding a BA in Spanish with university certificates in translation and a minor speciality in biology.
