Description
I'm in a bit of a search for a meaning of life, as pathetic as that sounds, but in general nature and travel bring me happiness. I'm currently on a break from my normal career that I had until now and trying to decide what I want to do going forward -- and I thought some lower pressure workaway time will maybe help me decide what I want to do in life when I am not sucked into the everyday life path. I was born in Poland, lived in the UK for most of my adult life (from 18 to 28) and the last two years I spent in Berlin, Germany. I am not sure I consider myself fully British (and most British people wouldn't consider me such), I definitely do not consider myself fully Polish at this point as my connection to that country is quite weak by now, and I am definitely not German xD I am a citizen of Europe I guess. Maybe of the world one day. I studied Engineering and worked as a software engineer until now, but after over 10 years of constant laptop time I am a keen on a break from the screen. Oh and I like learning languages.

More details about your skills
I am good with pets and I have done some cleaning jobs when I first started working (and have been cleaning my own home for the past 12 years, does that count?).
I am good with pets and like animals, a bit afraid of big dogs (not like labradors obviously, also for some reason I am fine with German shepherds, probably because several of my mum's friends had them when I was a kid and we played together?), but definitely good with cats (I love cats and will spoil your cat as much as you'll let me) and I am used to hooved animals, as I used to help out at a stable.
I am not afraid of tools and physical work, I do some basic bike maintenance (like fixing flats, putting the chain back on, replacing brakes), I have helped with various amateur construction as well as part of my involvement with various community initiatives, such us drilling in a new wooden floor on top of the old one to make a dance floor or helping move a bunch of drink crates for hours. I've also used a soldering iron and did general small electronics work as part of my degree, as well as a bunch of random lab and manufacturing projects, such as building a robot or an electric car.
I am also in general technically minded (wouldn't have studied Engineering otherwise), so I can often figure things out when it comes to handling physical objects.
I speak Polish, some German and Russian in case you need to translate anything from any of these languages I guess.Age

Firstly, the setting itself is hard to beat, it's beautiful. I can't decide what I found the most magical -- was it watching the sunrise from the deck, as the boats headed out down below for their day's jobs? Was it kayaking along the shore in the quiet of the morning, listening to the sounds of birds coming from the… read more
