Hi there! My name is Jess and I am a microbiologist and educator looking to explore the incredible natural world around me. While I spent a lot of time exploring beautiful California while I was growing up (my home state), I did not have the opportunity to travel outside of the country. Now as a young adult, I seek to connect with other incredible cultures around the world. I am eager to step out of my comfort zone in order to learn more about the world around me, others, and myself. I am passionate about plant and animal life, so an ideal travel experience would mean a farm stay somewhere abroad!

As a biologist, I have a pretty large knowledge of plant and animal life! In my personal life, I have developed a lot of experience gardening and tending to farm animals and pets such as chickens, cows, cats, and dogs. I believe that these qualities make me an excellent helper on a farm! I have many interests that make me a great member of any community. I have over 8 years of child-care experience, love to sing and play guitar, I love to cook and try new foods and I am very clean and organized. I am also very handy and creative! I have experience using a variety of tools and materials to design and build structures and would love to lend my creative eye to any project. :)

I am very proficient in Spanish (reading, writing, listening) and love to speak with others in their native tongue.
