Hi I'm Jenn, 30yo from Tasmania, Australia (known for beautiful rainforests, clean air and cool temperatures). I am currently travelling Europe for the first time. I'm looking forward to checking out beautiful, new, interesting places, meeting wonderful people, and experiencing local ways of living that I'd miss out on in the tourist hot spots. I love to challenge myself to pick up local languages, so if you're patient I'd love to learn your language! I find value in settling in a place for some time and am happy to do a wide variety of work including gardening, farm work, cleaning, cooking, manual tasks, computer work, customer service and more. I'm really interested in picking up skills in eco construction, regenerative/holistic agriculture, as well as other hands on artistic or decorative skills. I enjoy seeing the variety of valuable projects here on Workaway and hope to gain both skills and inspiration for a project of my own someday. I love working on pretty much anything that makes a positive contribution to the environment, humans or animals.
I enjoy poetry, art, nature, good food (eat mostly vegetarian diet, but will happily try meat dishes especially if they are a typical cuisine). I am friendly, conscientious, curious, enjoy quiet time, crafts, meaningful conversations, and sharing human experiences with others.

I am very interested in learning almost any language, linguistics is truly fascinating to me. I have taught English previously in Cambodia but am only able to teach in English.

I have worked in a range of hospitality, retail, and food service environments and also have strong computer literacy and written communication.
I have worked the last 5 years in conservation, mostly computer based with a small amount of field conservation and gardening experience. I have worked for a summer at a cherry farm, and undertaken a couple of gardening projects with a trained horticulturalist. I have also volunteered at a native plant nursery propagating native local provenance plants for revegetation projects around Tasmania. I have volunteered for several environmental organisations, and have taught English in Cambodia (conversational). Very happy to do manual tasks. I am a RYT200hr Yoga Teacher.
