Description
We (Jake and Hannah) both grew up in Nova Scotia, Canada and have been friends since birth! We both share a strong interest in sustainable agriculture and spending time outdoors, which is what has brought us to New Zealand this year.

Both of us have spent time working on farms in Canada, learning some basics around permaculture and general farm maintenance (we have both supported community supported agriculture programs in our home province!). We love being able to connect with people and explore new places, and are both laid back hard workers ready to get our hands dirty. We're always motivated to take on a new adventure and see what different opportunities have to offer as we make our way through NZ.

We hope to be able to work with likeminded people, share knowledge, and learn lots!

Our passion for being outside and the environment has brought me to explore farming first hand through WWOOF a few summers ago. That experience allowed us to understand a few basics around organic farming, but we are both eager to continue learning.

Hannah has worked on a teaching farm learning about permaculture, sustainable agriculture, and garden maintenance. Jake has worked on an organic vegetable farm learning about community support agriculture.

Both of us have a knack for adventure and experiencing new things. While we bring many skills related to farming and 'getting our hands dirty', we are quick learners and have a strong dedication to learn more.
