Hi! We are Jacob (24) and Daan (23), a couple from The Netherlands! We just started a big adventure together in Australia. We cant wait to see all the beauty Australia has to offer and are also very excited about meeting new wonderful people. We are new to workaway, as this is our first world trip!

Furthermore, we both have just graduated from University this year! Yeah! Jacob has a master degree in public administration and Daan has a bachelor degree in applied psychology.

Some of our hobbies: Jacob is interested in sports and is a passionate triathlete! Daan loves yoga, crafting and reading. We love to spend our holidays exploring new cultures together and we love hiking.

We both work next to our studies in the Netherlands. Daan works as a caregiver for disabled and elderly people. Therefore she has lots of experience with assistence and cleaning. She also has been babysitting for over 10 years. Lastly, Daan volunteers at a asylum centre in her hometown. She advocates for refugees and helps them understanding the rules and regulations of their aslym procedure.

Jacob works in the hospitality industry and also through an employment agency. Most of the time he works as a waiter in various restaurants and amusement parks. Moreover, Jacob works as a driver for leasing companies. Besides, he like sports and does a lot of training in the gym. Therefore he can help with heavy jobs!

We both are relaxed, enthusiastic and curious people. We like to cook and prepare meals and help around the house. We both have little experience in gardening, building and general maintenance. But we are very eager to learn these kinds of skills and are not afraid to roll up our sleeves!
