Description
Hi, I'm Jack! I have recently graduated after 7 years of Uni, in Liberal Arts and Sciences and Philosophy. After spending much time in the books I'm really excited to go out there and see the world. I want to explore and get to know new people and new cultures. My life goal is to pursue wisdom (philo-sophia), but I've found the end of the trail at the academy and so now I hope to find wisdom elsewhere, in people, in experiences and in myself perhaps.
I am a great sports enthusiast, I am currently focused on multiple kinds of fighting/self-defense sports, obstacle-run, yoga, dancing and flowarts. In general I love to be active and move my body and mind in ways I haven't done before.
I am also a fan of "spiritual" stuff. I meditate and do yoga frequently. I've also attended many workshops in tantra, breathwork and such. I additionally want to do a tantra training later this summer with the intention of creating greater compassion for myself and for others. I like to think of myself as being a very grounded person but keeping an open mind about "spiritual" things.
Since writing the above I took a job as a deckhand on a sailing ship for a season. On the ship we sailed around with German guests. The ship had many problems, including inoperable sails, a lack of a proper dirty water pump, crew consisting of just an alcoholic captain (two different ones actually, both alcoholic, confirming the stereotype) and one deckhand with no prior knowledge (me), as well as general mismanagement by 4 or 5 different owners. Needless to say I had a lot of fun and learned an intense amount!
Now I'm ready to go travelling again. I bought a humble Ford Focus and outfitted with everything I need for the "vanlife", My plan is to go in summer to Spain or Portugal to do street performance in Flow Arts, but for now I'm planning different training weeks and some work aways, both for fun and to learn things.Interests

I am a big fan of clear communication. As such, I almost always speak English, as it is the one of the most common languages, and it is the one I can express myself in most clearly and precisely. I have a TEFL certificate, which I never used so far. But in the future I might want to become a teacher, so I would love the practice. I would love to teach some basic English skills to children or adults. The other way around, I would like to sharpen my German (decent) and Spanish (solo un poquito).Skills and knowledge I'd like to share or learn

More details about your skills
To start, I am a university-educated philosophy student, which doesn't necessarily amount to much practical skill, except for being able to have fun philosophical discussions, and having a high degree of critical thinking.
But the things I want to focus on right now are rather more practical than philosophy. I am physically very fit and would be very keen to learn different practical skills, such as gardening, carpenting, other house work. My studies were all in English and so I have a high English proficiency (I have a C1 diploma from 7 years ago, and so expect my level to be at C2 now). I also speak Dutch, and a bit of German. Other than that I have all the basic skills to live independently.Age

What else ...
Since the prompt here mentioned "which board games you play": I love playing games, I'm a big (former) video-gamer myself, and I like playing all kinds of board games, card games or even DnD with a good crowd.
For physical hobbies: I mentioned in my profile description some of the sports I do, but I do many more if I can, and there probably not a physical activity you can think of I wouldn't want to join in on. There's also the fire sword you can see on my profile picture. I give fire shows occasionally, with a sword or a staff that I light on fire. If there's the space and the interest I'd love to give some fire shows on nice evenings.
I also didn't mention anything about animals yet, but I love animals of all kinds. I grew up on a kind of farm, around goats, ponies, many dogs and many cats. I can handle animals well and its definitely a plus if you have some nice big dogs and cute cats. Some more information
