I am a native English speaker and a qualified teacher of English as a Foreign Language, I have a small bit of Irish too for anyone curious. I am learning Italian and am a beginner, but learning quick and am eager to practice and learn more.

I have a varied background of experience from research into computational mathematics and machine learning, to draftsmanship and labouring, to teaching mathematics and english across various levels, to software development, and being a tour guide.
I play multiple instruments to varying degrees and I write some simple songs for fun.
I am learning Italian, and can make myself rudimentarily understood and the same for understanding others if the topic of conversation is simple enough.
I am eager to learn more Italian, and pick up skills and experience in anything I get the opportunity to (ideally become a better cook and develop a better understanding of sufficiency and gardening). Plus anything hosts know that they are interested to share I would love to learn from them!

I am very interested in card games (currently durak). I love music, playing it, listening to it, writing it. I am an avid reader, and I write sometimes for my satisfaction. I love to boulder, hike, play basketball, swim, cliff jump, cycle, and make new friends. I am not a good cook, but I enjoy to cook. I am am a big fan of maths and related subjects and am currently hooked on some linguistics
