My name is Izaak. I am from Nova Scotia Canada. I have grown up on a farm. I am trying to find a way that I can help the world. Agriculture on a large scale scares me as well as many other things in our modern world so I am seeking places that are doing it differently than I know.
I enjoy working with others. I like sharing ideas and building collective knowledge.
I have a passion for philosophy, snowboarding, dancing, martial arts, and music.
I want to learn and help.
Lies here no no lies, everything I'm writing here is true :) I am born in Belgium, on the countryside in Flanders. My childhood was spent exploring the wonders of nature, going on trips, moving my body and listening to my senses. It has given me the opportunity to find out more about myself, my environment and my relationship with others. I love food, have studied nutrition and dietetics and got into contact with permaculture because of this. Healing the planet and therefor each other is a calling I hold deeply in my heart. I love connecting with other people through sharing an experience, a moment, a smile. Simplicity.
I love diversity. A wide range of tasks and possibilities excite me. I love creating. Spaces, art, connections.

I have grown up around animals and in general understand how to be safe and respectful around them.
I have worked in all stages of plant care: seeding, transplanting, weeding, and harvesting.
I have taken a university course on circuitry.
I am physically capable and strong, and I am comfortable with heights.
For a season have help build and set up and take down yurts. For a season I have worked in construction.
I am a good driver of various size vehicles and tractors. ( I am currently a delivery driver)
I am adaptable and a fast learner.
I enjoy problem-solving (sometimes can like "my" solutions a little too much).
