Hi I'm Issy! I am 21 years old and I'm very excited to be a part of the Workaway community! I am from the South of the UK where I studied Animal management at college, I then became a dog walker/sitter where I enriched the day-to-day activities for the dogs whilst also implementing training techniques. Following this I realised I had a passion for teaching (specifically horse riding), I have 15 years of horse riding experience ( 2 of them being in a professional setting; on a carriage driving yard and in a riding school). I trained towards my British Horse Society qualifications this year and now have my BHS Stage 2 complete qualification. My horse Belle and I love to get out and ride regularly for both fitness and enjoyment! This year I have also worked at my local theme park as a ride operator, this has been a great experience to surround myself with new people everyday and create a really memorable experience for each and every guest. Both my roles as a ride operator and horse riding instructor have made me realise how much I thrive when forming meaningful social connections, it's so much more than just a job, it allows me to be pushed outside my comfort zone. I would love to experience a workaway where I can make really positive connections with everyone I meet and hopefully exchange some knowledge/life skills.

With years of experience traveling for work within my own country; often spending most weeks away from home, it’s become second nature for me to adapt quickly, connect with new people and bring a positive vibe wherever I go. I’ve learned how to make work not just productive but enjoyable and I'm excited to do this in many new places! Whether it’s finding the best local spots, building great relationships with teammates, or tackling challenges with a can-do attitude, I bring enthusiasm and flexibility to every situation.
Working abroad feels like the perfect next step for me. I’m confident that my mix of adaptability, adventurous spirit, and ability to keep things light and fun while staying professional would make me a valuable addition to any project. I can’t wait to tackle new challenges with my positive energy!

Issy has 15 years of skills in animal and equine care with a strength in equestrian coaching. She can perform all aspects of equine care and loves to educate on them too, she also have a sound knowledge on a wider range of animal husbandry.
She also has experience with house/baby sitting, as well as a clean enhanced DBS check.
Max has 6 years of experience as a tradesman with particular focus on electrical work however he's quite the handyman and will try his hand at fixing things in need!
Max also enjoys playing guitar and piano and would love to share and expand on his knowledge in this area.
We both love cooking and picking up new recipes from our travels! We both have a basic knowledge of social media and content creation which we'd love to contribute to our host's project if desired.
We are both very hard working and wish to get the most out of our travels by giving it 100% everyday, we can't wait to see who we meet and what we learn!
