Description
We are a language teacher/translator and a data scientist that have decided to take some time off from the rat race. We're currently traveling in Australia and want to meet nice people and acquire new skills, such as sailing, farming, languages etc. We also offer tons of skills, such as cooking, cleaning, helping out with marketing and writing, socializing etc.

We’re both easy-going and friendly people that like to have some fun but are also into deep conversations. Additionally, we’re clean and organized, can cook and work hard. We’re motivated by our love for nature and the ocean.

We are quick learners and bring along a lot of curiosity and motivation. We have worked in retail and hospitality during our university studies and therefore know how to cater to guests. We are well versed in the areas of marketing and IT as well as education and translation. We are both fluent in German and English, Iris also speaks Mandarin and can survive in French and Spanish. We’re clean and organized, can cook and work hard.

Iris and Joel were a delight to host, hardworking, friendly and lots of great chats around the meal table. They were both very respectful and applied themselves to any given task. No matter what it was.

Shirley and Ueli are two wonderful human beings and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at their farm. They were incredibly warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home with them and their lovely band of animals. Joel and Iris are a couple of fierce workers who relentlessly scraped and ground away shells on the boat. Just one look at their luggage and you'll know how hard of workers they are 😉
