  • Description

    Hi there! :)

Here is Irene - a 35 years old with a "gypsy-soul" and a never ending passion for learning new things and exploring new places.

After living in different countries and experiencing different lifestyles, I have been feeling more and more the desire to live closer to nature, and to create a lifestyle that is more sustainable...and so, here I am, looking forward to share experiences with some inspiring people who are already living such lifestyle.

I would really love to be learning anything that would relate to organic gardening, eco-building, living off-grid, self-sustainability, and permaculture.

I am willing to be a helping hand for things that I have knowledge about, as much as for things that are still new to me and I will have to learn.

I love to be in multicultural settings and to meet people from different backgrounds and walks of life.
I can say I'm a flexible person, and I try to adapt to any situation - but hey, gotta admit that if you'd put pineapple on pizza, I may have a minor heart-attack (I'm still Italian, afterall)

  • More details about your skills

I am a therapist with different fields of interest in terms of Holistic and "alternative" therapies. On a scientific level, I am a Physiotherapist, and I have specialized in Adapted Physical Activities, and in Horse Assisted Therapy for people with disabilities (especially for children).
On a more holistic level, I am also an Ayurvedic Practitioner, I'm certified as a Yoga Teacher and as a Past Life Regression Therapist, and I have also other minor specializations in the field of alternative healing and wellness.

In the past years, I've also been working as a Tourist Guide, leading hiking tours around Europe, and I've had working experiences in the fields of hospitality and customer care. Therefore, I feel comfortable in having to take care of customers and guests, also in group settings.

I fluently speak Italian, English, and Spanish. I'm comfortable speaking in French, I understand Portuguese (the Brazilian Portuguese, mainly), and I have some little basics in Finnish and German.

I also enjoy cooking for people and I can help in taking care of the house.

In general, I am willing to be a helping hand wherever is required, and if I don't have the skills yet, I'm eager to learn, and I do my best to try to give my best in what I do.
