Description
Hi there, I’m Imogen and I’m from Cheshire in the UK.
I grew up on a farm and spent my childhood around horses and animals.
During lockdown, I rediscovered my love for riding and spent a full summer helping on a farm—tacking up, exercising horses, mucking out, and doing whatever else needed doing. I’m not afraid of hard work and feel most myself when I’m outdoors, hands-on, and part of a team.
I’ve recently taken time out of a fast-paced corporate career to reconnect with what really matters to me: nature, animals and health and wellness.
I have already travelled a fair amount around Australia, New Zealand and spent some time Dubai. I’m a big fan of country music and would especially love to experience ranch life in Montana, Wyoming, or Texas (yes, I’ve watched a lot of Yellowstone) But I am open to anywhere there is horses to ride!
I’m grounded, positive, and happy to turn my hand to anything—from mucking out stalls to helping with guests or garden projects. I've au-paired before and I also love to cook.
As well as hoping to find a lovely host to stay with I am also hoping to find a travel buddy with a passion for horses and exploring!
Let me know if I sound like a good fit I’d be happy to chat.

More details about your skills
I’ve spent a summer working on a farm where I helped with horses—mucking out, tacking up, exercising—and pitched in with general outdoor tasks. While it’s not my main background, I absolutely loved the hands-on nature of it and felt really at home in that environment.
Alongside from my corporate career, I’ve done pet sitting, babysitting, and worked as an au pair, which helped me become confident with children and animals, and able to adapt to different households and routines. I’ve also worked in events management which taught me how to stay calm under pressure, think on my feet, and work well in a team.
I enjoy gardening and cooking with fresh, seasonal ingredients, and I have a creative side too—I love painting and can sew well enough for practical projects. I’m currently studying functional health and nutrition, so I care deeply about wellness, clean living, and being close to nature.
I’m calm, reliable, and always willing to learn and contribute wherever I can.
Age
27

What else ...
I’m a big believer in slowing down and making the most of the little things—whether that’s a sunset, a home-cooked meal, or a walk with my dog. I love learning about natural health and ancestral living, and I’m currently studying functional health, which ties in with my passion for nourishing food and a balanced lifestyle.
In my downtime, I enjoy journaling, reading, and listening to country music (always open to new artists if you have recommendations!). I also love art and reading. I’m naturally curious and love good conversations about everything and nothing.
I’m independent and sociable, and I really value mutual respect, calm energy and fun. I love being around people who care about the land and living with purpose.
