Description
I am a journalist and in november of 2022 I decided to took a gap year, so I lived one year in france as a life-enriching experience, and now, after have been volunteer in Africa for more than a month, I extended that gap year which started in november 2022 and I decided that I'm gonna give a shot to Workaway to participate in some volunteering that sure will make me a better person. I have already participated in 3 catholic missions and 11 workcamps in Chile helping people in need when I was a college student, both in winter and summer holidays, and there I realised the importance of being a volunteer.

Ignacio worked in our household for a period of over three months as part of a workaway programme. During this time, he demonstrated an exceptional work ethic, conscientiousness and reliability. Ignacio did an excellent job in all the areas he was entrusted with. He cleaned and maintained the apartment with the utmost care and attention to detail. It was immediately apparent that Ignacio had high standards of cleanliness and order. He ensured that our living spaces were always in immaculate condition. He also showed his best side when it came to caring for the garden. Ignacio was proactive in his gardening, taking care of the plants, lawn and flowerbeds, ensuring that the garden was always well-kept and looked attractive.
His work with our pets deserves special mention. Not only was Ignacio reliable in his daily care of our dog and cat, but he also developed a deep bond with the animals. He regularly took our dog for walks, played with him and lovingly cared for him. Our cat also enjoyed his company and attention. Ignacio has shown that he is not only an excellent housekeeper, but also a responsible and animal-loving person.
Ignacio carried out all his duties with an impressive level of professionalism. He was always punctual, efficient and showed a remarkable level of initiative. When it came to completing tasks, he was not only thorough but also flexible and adaptable. He was able to prioritise and always ensured that our needs and expectations were met.
His conscientiousness is reflected in every aspect of his work. There was never any need to check his work, as he always took the utmost care. Ignacio was also always willing to take on additional tasks when necessary and in many situations he made suggestions for improvement that made the household even more efficient.
Ignacio is not only an excellent worker, but also a pleasant and friendly person. He integrated himself into our daily routine without any problems and was always respectful and polite in his dealings with us. His positive and balanced nature contributed significantly to a pleasant atmosphere. We very much appreciated his company and were always impressed by his friendly and courteous manner.
Overall, I can recommend Ignacio without reservation. During his stay, he completed all the tasks assigned to him with the utmost care and professionalism. His commitment, reliability and interpersonal skills make him an exceptional Workaway helper. We are very grateful for the excellent work Ignacio did and would be happy to have him back at any time.
