Hello! My name is Hugo Petrignani, and I’m an enthusiastic and adaptable individual with a passion for learning, community building, and cultural exchange. I bring a diverse background in education, hospitality, and human rights advocacy, enriched by hands-on experience in sustainable farming.

Recently, I spent two months on a farm in Turkey, where I pruned trees, made woodchips for mulching, fed animals, planted crops, and prepared cuttings. This immersive experience was a part of a permaculture project. It deepened my interest in sustainable living, and the cross-cultural transfer of skills. It also fueled my desire to travel, meet new people, and engage in meaningful projects that promote sustainability and shared learning.

I hold a Master’s degree in History and International Relations and have worked as a teacher, project assistant, and hospitality. My educational and professional journey has equipped me with strong teaching skills, a solid grasp of English and a deep passion for inclusivity, civil society initiatives, and human rights. I am particularly interested in discovering more about civil society and exploring opportunities to commit to NGO actions that drive positive change.

I love working with people of all ages—especially children. My experiences and interests inspire me to seek collaborations that combine my skills with meaningful causes. I have a diverse skill set and solid experience in various fields, from education to sustainable farming. As a teacher of history, geography, and literature, I developed strong communication, organizational, and adaptability skills while raising awareness among my students about human rights and inclusivity.

In addition, I gained hands-on experience working on a farm in Turkey, where I pruned trees, created woodchips for mulching, fed animals (chickens and lambs), planted crops, and prepared cuttings. I've also been a harvest worker for the past three years (grape and cherries). These activities helped me develop skills in sustainable agriculture while enhancing my ability to work collaboratively and learn new techniques.
