Description

We are Basile and Hugo, two 25-year-old Frenchmen looking for adventure and encounters.
After meeting during our engineering studies in Canada, we decided to come to New Zealand to discover its culture and landscapes for 1 year.
We'd also like to travel by sail (your destination will be ours), we have somes knowledge in navigation and Hugo Hugo was a lifeguard and has a boating license.

We are resourceful and handy. We like to tinker and build things (construction & renovation of sailboats, houses...) . We'd like to put our technical knowledge as engineers to work on sustainable projects or other interesting projects.

Hugo is passionate about the world of the ocean and its protection. He worked as a mechanical engineer for various ocean protection projects. He likes scuba-diving (CMAS 2) and he's also lifeguard.

Basile loves being in the nature, hiking and bivouacking with friends for example. More than that, he likes practicing sport outside and discovering new landscapes.

More generally, we find happiness in simple things. We love meeting new people, sharing our stories and differents cultures. During our trip, we aslo looking for boat-stop/sailing

To conclude we are also love making music, Basile plays piano a lot and Hugo has been playing guiar since childhood. If anyone is looking for volunteers for a festival, give us a call !

We both had an education based on handmade construction, we continued to feed this curiosity with personal or profesionnal projects

Basile :
I have an engineer degree in electricity with different specializations in mechanic ans informatics. I play the piano and love practicing sports such as climbing, running, swimming... I already did a work-away experience before in a permaculture farm in Tunisia during 2 weeks which went well and makes me want to do it again. I've general skills in gardening and construction

Hugo:

I love to make music, I play guitar since childhood and like Basile I am practicing running, swimming and climbing.
