Hello, I am 24, from Devon, England. I was very lucky to grow up in the countryside near the beach and so I have a great love for the outdoors and being in nature brings me a lot of happiness and peace.
I have been doing lots of odd jobs since finishing university in 2023 and so I have a variety of skills that I would love to both improve and add to.
I am an active person and enjoy hiking, sports, and dancing – I have been learning salsa on and off for the past two years and whilst I’m not very good, I really love it!
Travelling has brought me into contact with so many amazing and generous people who have shared their community and culture with me and this is a big motivation for my travel as I love to experience different ways of life and learn new things. I also try to push myself out of my comfort zone as much as possible which isn’t something I always find easy. So another reason for signing up to work away is to test myself and to hopefully discover more about myself and what I want from life.
I look forward to meeting the new friends and challenges that are on the horizon.

I have just earned my TEFL qualification and taught English to students ranging from 3 to 18 years old in Vietnam for 3 months in 2024.
I have worked as a painter and decorator, therefore I have basic skills in DIY, prepping walls and floors for painting etc.
I have been employed as a casual gardener recently and I also worked in a vineyard harvesting grapes.
I have lots of hospitality experience so I have very good customer service skills.
I have worked as a cleaner of holiday homes.
I am generally quick to learn, hardworking, and enthusiastic.
I love to cook and can make a range of home cooked and healthy meals and I can bake too - mostly bread as my cakes never rise!

What else ...

One of my quieter hobbies is reading, I love to read! I also love to draw and paint when I have the time. I love playing board games and card games with my friends, and I can get quite competitive. I love word games like Articulate and Taboo and find a game of charades with friends and family the funniest and most enjoyable thing!
