Description

We are Holly (26, they/she) and Amaia (24, they/she), a lesbian couple from Bristol, UK. We are creative, compassionate, and joyful people, and we care deeply about our world and the people in it. Holly is a trained holistic massage therapist, an artist, and used to run a vegetarian cafe in a community centre in Bristol. Amaia is a musician, curates safe(r) space events for marginalised communities, and works as a receptionist at a community centre. As much as possible, we give our time to the land, to activism, to art, and to taking care of our selves and our community.

We both have experience doing Workaways, for example grape picking at a permaculture organic farm in Somerset, as well as volunteering at various farms and community projects in south west UK. We share a communal allotment, and we are both great vegetarian cooks. We have both lived in communal living situations for over 5 years and have learned how to navigate differing needs with compassion and care, and the importance of everyone pulling their weight.
