Description

I'm a lifelong Florida resident with an academic background in environmental studies and humanities, and a professional background in Geographic Information Systems, having worked for the FL Park Service, FL Natural Areas Inventory, USFS, as well as in local government and telecom.

My wife and partner of 15 years recently passed away after a short battle with cancer, so now I’m embarking on a new chapter in my life, taking my van and two cats on the road to find work exchange and volunteer opportunities on small farms and other venues, while also visiting friends and family throughout the country.

I tend to be reserved but easy going. I try to be open minded in all things; that being said, most people would call me a progressive or independent, and you're more likely going to find me reading a book or noodling on my synths or on a solitary hike, rather than out at a bar or watching sports. I do love a good concert.

I also love being able to work outdoors and learn new things, and will gladly throw my efforts into any kind of project. I have a past history of volunteering on organic farms, as well as conservation projects like species monitoring and invasives removal. I can also provide references, resume, and proof of covid vaccination upon request.
