Hi, 你好! My name is Xiao and I'm originally from Chengdu, China, the hometown of pandas, and I'm currently pursuing a graduate degree in Digital Media in the United States. Fluent in both Mandarin and English, I have half a year of Chinese teaching experience, so I would love to teach you Chinese and introduce you to some Chinese culture/food.

I pride myself on being compassionate, enthusiastic, and communicative. My family has two cats and dogs and love spending my free time with them. I also engaged in various outdoor activities like hiking, camping, surfing, frisbee, and more. I love plants, there are lots of in my house, and they live a happy life. I love singing and am an amateur guitar singer. I'm also a good cook, all of my friends love my dishes:)

My past volunteer experience, where I worked closely with others and explored nature during my downtime, was unforgettable – it felt like a paradise to me. That's why I'm eagerly looking forward to embarking on my next work exchange journey. I quickly adapt and learn new skills and am excited about immersing myself in different cultures and experiences!

· Language: Fluent in Mandarin and English. I have my Mandarin professional qualification in China. I also have half a year of experience in teaching students Chinese presentations. I’m always open to learning a new language.

· Digital Media: I have a journalism bachelor’s degree with a year of industry working experience, currently pursuing my digital media master’s degree.

· Advanced Cooking Skills: Passion for cooking and proficiency in preparing a variety of delicious dishes. You won't regret to taste my special recipe.

· Guitar Singer: I've been an amateur guitar singer for years.

· House organization and decoration: I used to volunteer in a surf shop. I did lots of work including wall painting, shop cleaning, decoration ect.

· Animal and Plant Lover: My family and I have a garden in China. We also have two cats and dogs. I'm passionate about learning how to take care of different animals and plants. They have a magic that makes me feel peaceful and embraced.

· Outdoor and Fitness Person: Hiking, camping, surfing, frisbee, water sports and fitness. Recently I'm trying to incorporate CrossFit into my routine.
