I am a very curious and inquisitive person. I am currently on a gap year and am hoping to study engineering in September! Meanwhile, I want to discover the world and learn about different cultures. I want to learn a new language, and I believe that the best way of doing this is integrating yourself in another culture. I love nature - my goal is to be able to climb the highest mountain in every country I go to! I also love animals. I have been riding horses since I was 5 and have been surrounded by animals for my whole life. I find being able to form bonds with animals one of the most rewarding things, and for that reason I am looking for work on farms/shelters. I am also a tutor and I enjoy working with children and making an impact in their lives. Ultimately, my aim is to make a positive impact on the world and create happiness wherever I go!

More details about my language interests
I have basic knowledge of Spanish (I got the top grade at GCSEs - the public exam you take at 16 in England), so it would be nice to build on this, however I am not fussed about where I go or what I learn. I just want to learn another language and expand my knowledge of the world!

I have an outstanding academic track record, having scored top grades in all my public exams. I speak basic Spanish, however I want to learn more! I love trying new things, currently in my free time I am teaching myself computer programming and computer aided design. Additionally, I have basic mechanical knowledge, having work in a small race team for a year and I love getting stuck in with hands on tasks.
I have worked in many customer service roles, such as waitressing, serving food, and working in a shop. I enjoy putting smiles on peoples faces and giving them the best experience possible.
For the last year and a half I have been a tutor, teaching Maths and English to children ages 4-16. I am confident tailoring my approach to each child and getting to know them as individuals.
On a more personal level, I am a competent horse rider, having ridden horses for the last 13 years. I am often tasked with training the more difficult horses and I really enjoy making connections and working as part of a team with them! I have excellent stable knowledge and I have regularly volunteered at my local riding school, teaching younger children how to ride and assisting in more advanced lessons. I also pet sit and love surrounding myself with animals and nature!
Finally I love cooking and baking and am really excited by the prospect of learning how to cook dishes from new cuisines. I just want to get stuck in and integrate myself into a new environment!
