Description
Hi, my name is Harold and I’m a 30 years old Belgian guy. I love traveling, meeting people, discovering other cultures, things I've been trying to do as often as possible over the last years. Learning is also very important for me, either through hands-on work or through books.
I think I am an easy-going and open-minded person and I usually get along with about anybody. I would label myself as an introvert and I used to be a bit shy but I like to think that I've (mostly) overcome that. I've had a few experiences of solo traveling (New Zealand, USA, Madagascar, Thailand, Morocco) which really helped with that too. I'm into a lot of things (art, science, nature, sport etc.) and I think I have a genuine interest in people (I always find it so refreshing to talk to someone that has a different view on life) so, in my experience, I have fun spending time with pretty much anyone.
In terms of work, I'm not very picky. I'm happy to do most things, especially if it involves being outside and talking to people or creating something.Interests

- Any type of manual work (construction, gardening etc.). I don't have professional experience in this area but I'm fit and I've always enjoyed this kind of work (it's a good change from working on a computer) and I have some experience but not a lot (I've helped build an irrigation system in Madagascar, I've renovated an old caravan to turn it into an airbnb in New Zealand, I've done some works in garden construction and many times I've helped friends with construction works).
- I love working with children and teaching. I was a scout leader (big thing in Belgium) for several years where I had to organize activities for children between 8 and 12. I also did a bit of English teaching for adolescents in Madagascar. Apart from that I did quite a lot of teaching at university in Belgium (as well as private math courses). I love teaching and I think I'm fairly good at it.
- I have some expertise when it comes to anything related to technology (especially computers). I can help setting up a website or fixing your printer for example.
- I like to think that I have many random skills beside this, so feel free to ask.Age
