Hi, my name is Hannah and I am from Germany.

Last year (2023) I graduated from high school and now want to explore Canada before I start university. Actually, this has been my plan since primary school, the beauty of the Canadian nature and culture has inspired me ever since, and now I see the opportunity to finally make this dream come true:)

I would describe myself as adventurous, creative, ambitious, reliable and a huge animal-lover.
Since 15 years, I have been horseback riding weekly. I am experienced in English dressage and jumping, however, I would love to learn Western and explore the Canadian nature from horseback. Furthermore, I am used to stable work and do not mind physical work and getting my hands dirty, especially if it is for the animals;)
In my free time, I also love to draw and paint everywhere I am, especially in nature. Other passions of mine are reading and playing the flute.

I have former experience with volunteering. Last year, I was able to go on a three-week trip to South Africa on a horse ranch. Besides riding and getting in touch with the African environment and culture, they offered a volunteering program, where I got to work with stray dogs.
This adventure filled me so much joy and reinforced my desire to travel more, meet new people from all over the world and just enjoy the uniqueness of various countries.

So I am really excited to finally start my Work&Travel journey in Canada and can not wait to collect new experiences which teach me to step out of my comfort zone, learn more about the rural Canadian lifestyle as well as the way of thought.
