Description
We are Meng from China and Duri from Switzerland. Our passion for traveling brought us together in a hostel at the foot of the Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, and now we are looking forward to reunite in New Zealand. We are both interested in a spiritual, nature connected lifestyle and share a curiousity and keenness to learn more about all the practices and knowledge connected to it. Meng is a fashion designer with a creative mind. She has a nice little garden and a dog in her house in Beijing. She has experience in permaculture from her first workaway stay in Kenya. Duri grew up on a farm with sheep and goats, helping out wherever he was needed, and later studied Social Antropology in Zürich. Together we are an energetic and open minded couple looking forward to help others and in turn learn from new experiences to create our own future.

On the family farm, Duri grew up helping with tasks such as herding and feeding the sheep and goats, planting and harvesting of potatoes. At university he learned about analysing and researching texts and critical thinking. On his later jobs as a bicycle courier and production worker in a chocolate factory he learned about efficiency, endurance and team work,
further developing these skills.
Meng likes doing some handwork. She decorated her house, painted her wall, and built her garden in China. She has planted a lot of organic vegetables and plants in the yard. She loves nature and she thinks we should protect nature together. She really likes animals very much. She keeps three cats and one dog.
