Description
I’m a 23-year-old recent Political Science graduate from the University of Trieste, originally from a small town near Venice. My decision to study away from home was driven by my desire to embrace new experiences and grow independently. One of my greatest passions is traveling, and as I grew older, I began organizing my own trips, whether for pleasure, cultural exchange, or work. I particularly enjoy backpacking, as it allows me to truly connect with the local culture and people in the countries I visit. I thrive in environments where I can integrate myself into the community, learning from those around me while also sharing my own experiences and perspectives. Recently, I worked as a group leader for a summer language school in Dublin, managing 40 students. This experience was incredibly enriching, as it allowed me to develop my educational and management skills and tested my adaptability in a foreign country. During my first year at university, I gained experience working with a company that collaborates with humanitarian agencies such as Save the Children, UNHCR, and Telethon. I also volunteered with Mani Tese, where I further deepened my understanding of humanitarian work. Additionally, I have participated in three Model United Nations conventions, which greatly broadened my perspective on global issues and increased my desire to work in advocacy, particularly in the areas of children’s and women’s rights. Beyond my passion for traveling, I also love outdoor activities, whether it’s hiking, sports, or simply enjoying long walks. Being active and connected to nature is something that brings me peace and joy, and I often find it helps me recharge and reflect on the world around me.
