Description

I am a Slovak woman living in Malmö, Sweden. I love low-cost travelling, hitchhiking, meeting & staying with locals, because it helps me getting to know people and local life.
I work in a digital and e-commerce field with a big retailer, spending a lot of my time in an office. I don´t particulary enjoy this. So I spend a lot of my freetime hiking, helping with a family garden any time I get to visit my family or crafting.

I used to work as a visual merchandiser, so I am no stranger to ladders, different tools and I really like drilling :D

Before, I lived in Czech Republic, where I spent a lot of my time teaching English in a low treshhold centre, as well as volounteering with kids from less privileged social class.

I like literature, theatre and music. I am not a big movie person.

I am a quite good cook and baker. I can get around with children easily and I have good communication skills.
I used to teach French and English, volouteered with children and I helped organised couple of cultural events, like author´s reading and jazz concerts.
I am also good with assembling furniture and some handy work around the house and garden.

I am interested in literature, music, hiking, art and culture in general. I read and write a lot, I also knit and collect vinyl records (that I love buying while travelling).
I also like boardgames evenings, recently I fell in love with Terraforming Mars.

I am desperately in love with the North. I love the calm, slow life connected to nature and the introspective it brings. Challenges it gives. And of course learneling about the culture and history.
