Hello! My name is Gigi, I am a 22 year old Filipino girl from the UK who is currently backpacking the world! So far I have travelled some South East Asian countries and after I have been living in Australia for nearly a year.
I love travelling and exploring different places, experiencing different cultures and seeing the beautiful views of nature each country has to offer!
I also love meeting new people & connecting with locals, that’s why I want to do a workaway and meet some local families and learn more about the culture & build stronger friendships :) I would really enjoy becoming a part of a family!!
I am an adventurous person as I love trying new activities and challenge myself, I am also very adventurous with FOOD!! I LOVE FOOD - I am interested in learning about the local food of each country I visit, and trying everything I can find.

I am from England so I speak fluent English, I also speak a bit of Tagalog which is from my home country.
I have very good people skills. I used to work in a hospital which included personal care and looking after and connecting with patients to make them feel comfortable.
In Australia I work 3 jobs in hospitality in cafe & restaurants which included fast paced and busy environments, cleaning and creating good bonds with people whilst giving good customer service.

I like creative things - I love music, I can play the guitar and I love to sing! I also play a little bit of piano.
I also enjoy photography, and I am currently learning about videography.
I like to read books, drawing, watching series/movies/anime, salsa dancing, trying new foods and also trying new activities & learning new skills, for example I learned surfing for 2 weeks and it was amazing.
I love outdoor activities like going on hikes and find amazing views, swimming in the ocean, scuba diving, snorkelling
