I am a working professional, a librarian from Vancouver, Canada who currently lives in Istanbul. I am 43 and a non-smoker and a very active person who loves travel, food, cooking, culture, music, history and art. I have lived in 8 countries and speak English, Spanish, Persian, beginner Turkish and a little Italian. My two favourite cities are Istanbul and Rome for their rich history and charisma. I have traveled the world extensively, but go bored of the same way of travelling and just seeing sights. That is why I decided to join Workaway. To give me a purpose for my travel and integrate with a country's culture, language and people much better. People describe me as passionate, outspoken, empathetic, kind and multi-faceted. I am an excellent cook and baker. I am very creative in cooking delicious dishes with basic ingredients and can bake amazing cakes, pies and cookies. I am very skilled in teaching languages, art and history to people of all ages. I am also very good with gardening work and looking after pets. I am very clean, responsible, organized and reliable. I love the outdoors and very fit. I love children and teens very much and connecting with them.
