Description
Hi everyone, I'm Francesca, 36.
I spent my childhood and adolescence in a small village in Tuscany.
As reading is one of my favorite things, I moved to Florence to study linguistics and literature. During my studies I took part in a students collective; we used to organize cultural and social events to talk about social justice, local fights or students activism.
I lived for a while in the countryside of Florence, in a big shared house with cats, dogs and some couchsurfers, spending time gardening, cooking all together and reading.
I moved then to Bologna to continue my literature studies. At that time I lived in a shared home with friends, we had a vegetable garden and we participated to the local ethical purchasing group (G.A.S.), we were also part of a soup kitchen collective, connected to Genuino Clandestino. Cooking and organizing events was our way to support local activism or to put in light social injustices.
In 2017 I decided to move to Marseille, I visited the city two years before while being fille au pair and I immediately loved it.
I worked at school, in a hostel, in a small Italian grocery store, as a translator...I tried to find a collective dimension, which is very important for me, being part of a shared urban garden and a no waste group.
I like to walk around in the city, to have coffee in the sun with friends or to read a book at the beach.
Even if now I find it harder to be an activist, I am sensitive about what happens in the world and I'm interested in local issues.
I like to have political, psychological or philosophical discussions with people I like. Sometimes I get a bit lost in questioning myself and my friends about the purpose and meaning of life.
I like to hang out with my friends and to meet new people, sometimes I'm ready to dance - in a very clumsy way, other times I prefer to lay on a couch and talk about everything.
Even if I'm still a beginner, I like to sew and I'd love to learn how to do it better (or to do it with someone else), I try to embroider too and I love this "meditation-like feeling".
I like to draw, to use watercolors and to make collages.
With a friend we make our own deodorant and shampooing, I'd like to make more homemade products to replace industrial ones.
I'm curious, I like to share everyday life with people, to talk with strangers and to learn new things.
I'd like to learn how to use my hands to create, build or repair things. I like the DIY idea!
I'm vegetarian, a bit obsessed by the magnificence of cats and cute beings in general.Interests

The surroundings are beautiful, the place is so peaceful and calm, we also bathe in the river close to the house!
We finished the olives harvesting, cut some wood for the winter, cooked a bit and quickly helped out Damiano with his house. Sadly we didn't… read more
