Description
I am jack of all trades. So far I have helped with a refit of a 130 year old yacht in Northern Ireland, walked 8 beautiful dogs in England, and done renovations on an old property near Barcelona.
Looking to meet interesting people and find joy and fulfillment in work.
I am an IT consultant turned sailor and tinkerer. I am traveling the world, getting some sea miles and trying to learn interesting skills.
I am a workhorse, ready and willing to do all the heavy lifting. I am particularly interested in DIY projects and animals.
I am a novice sailor and (according to some people) a pretty good cook!Interests

Typical jack of all trades. I am a programmer and hacker... which basically means I am used to knowing there is a lot I don't know and finding the answers quickly. I love open source software as it empowers people to build the tools they need.
I have sailed the west coast of Scotland.
I wild camped in Sweden, just off logging routes.
I know just enough about electronics to not break them with a soldering iron and splice some wires together.Age
32
What else ...
I like playing cards, board games, and pen and paper roleplaying.
I once 'restored' an old Soviet motorcycle (got the engine running and realised how in over my head I was). Some more information

No dietary requirements. Not a fussy eater

Marianne and Timothy are amazing people. There is so much to do on the land. What Marianne has done to the place is a true inspiration for anyone with that little voice in their head that gives them bad ideas for new projects and DIY!
Working on the land is very therapeutic. You'll sweat a lot and at the end of the day lie in a nice… read more
I will certainly be buying him a few rounds the next time I am in Barcelona!
His cat and other workaway were also pretty cool (I've never met such a needy cat!).

She was wonderful and accommodating from day one. She would walk me through what needed done in the mornings and then reappear later with new ideas and tasks to help with. During breaks and lunch, we would chat and she would improve her English and I would muddle my way through a few more Spanish words.
