Hi there!

My name is Ethan, I’m new to Workaway and looking for some adventure before I start my anthropology degree this September. I’m currently living in London working as a chef, but I would love to take this time to learn more about the world and gain some great experiences whilst exploring new places and meeting new people.

I spent the summer of 2022 in a mix of group and solo travelling; inter-railing and hiking through Europe, but there is still so much out there to see. My outgoing but relaxed approach to life means I’m up for anything and everything! my biggest passions are music, art, nature and history so I would really love to get fully immersed in the culture of wherever I end up.

I am planning to go travelling across Central and South America and would really like to improve my Spanish before this. I am a quick learner and would also love to pick up some of the language of wherever I'm staying. whenever travelling I always try my hardest to learn and speak the local language even if i'm only there for the day.

I am a trained chef and also love to bake. I've worked a number of jobs including cleaner, sound engineer and carer which has given me a wide range of skills.

I love to garden and helped maintain my mums garden and vegetable patch back home, including laying a brick path and patio, building various planters for the garden as well as the standard looking after the plants. We also built a stumpery and variety of sculptures around the garden, I am very handy although I haven't been officially trained.

I have a full drivers license, I'm often told I'm great with kids and have babysat many times.

whatever the task I will always give it my all i'm very motivated to learn new skills as well.
