Hey ! I'm Emma, a 24 years old French girl who would love to help you this summer :)
I currently live in Barcelona in a very international atmosphere, and I work for a permaculture NGO. I'm particularly interested in environmental sustainability and community living, which I'd like to experience more of.

In 2020, I went to Spain for my first Workaway experience ! I spent 2 weeks taking care of dogs in Catalonia, then 1 week near Valencia to teach French to a young girl and help around the house. Then I went to Madrid and I stayed almost 3 weeks to renovate an apartment (I did mostly painting). Finally I ended up in Granada where I worked as an au pair for 2 months !
In 2021 I volunteered in an NGO in Barcelona for 6 months where I helped with many tasks, like organizing a food bank every week, teaching French, or managing a team of volunteers (HR).
Every experience was unique and made me develop new skills ! I am able to cook, clean, take care of children but above all I am always ready to help, discover new things and volunteer in a good mood!

In 2022, I started being interested in permaculture and did a Workaway in a permaculture farm in the north of Spain. I then found a job in a permaculture NGO in Barcelona, where I worked for the past year and a half (doing mostly online work, but learning also technical skills). I have some gardening knowledge but I am I'm really keen to learn more!!

I love sport ! Indeed, I've been playing badminton for seven years, but I also like running and hiking!
I am very motivated by the idea of being able to work abroad and discover the country, for the culture, the landscapes, but also, most important, the food ahah!
Also, I'm love music!! I really love to play guitare and to jam with people... I also like to discover new music and I'm always up for dancing ! ;)

I really loved my experience at Andreas' place ! I learn a lot about permaculture (and on a lot of other topics!), I stayed in a lovely cabin with amazing people and discovered an incredible part of Spain. A great workaway, full of adventures and laughs ! :)

I really enjoyed staying at Carlos’ place ! The activities are great, everyone is super nice and you can participate in a lot great activities every day such as salsa or meditation !! The place is located in a wonderfull neighbourhood, full of life, and with welcoming people. I definitely recommend this place :)
