Hi there!
My name is Emma, I’m a 24 year old woman from Copenhagen, Denmark. In the end of January 2024 I quit my job as a daycare worker to travel full time and seek new adventures.

As a person I’m very social and outgoing - I (almost) always have a smile on my face. I see myself as a stable and responsible both person and worker. I love meeting new people, and I take new challenges on with a smile and a desire to learn.
I have always been very fond of traveling, as I’ve been fortunate enough to travel a lot with my family growing up. It has given me the desire to see the world, expand my horizon, meet new people and experience new cultures. For me it’s important to see this beautiful place we call home.

I have a love for design, art, photography and architecture. I enjoy taking photos and being creative. I do ceramics and I’ve recently started painting (spoiler, I’m not very good at it yet, but I’m practicing).
I also really enjoy moving my body primarily through yoga and Pilates - but with that said I have absolutely no problem with physical work during my stay! Other than that I just enjoy being in company with good people.

Handy/ general maintenance
I love to do little DIY projects around my house and I’ve always helped my dad with various projects. I see myself as pretty handy, and the things I do not know yet I would love to learn.

Cleaning
I’ve worked as a cleaner at Skejby Hospital in Aarhus. Here I had to maintenance an extremely high standard of cleaning, to keep everything sanitized.
I’ve also worked as a private cleaner, so I have a great deal of experience.

Kids
I’ve recently worked at a daycare/ kindergarten, where I took care of kids of the age 9 months to 6 years old. Not only did I help take care of them, but also facilitated meaningful playtime, helping them learn all sorts of skills required for their age.
A few years ago I volunteered at a NGO in Guatemala, helping kids from abusive families. Furthermore I’ve worked as a private nanny for a few years.

Service industry/ hospitality
I’ve worked a few jobs in this industry. I’ve worked as a retail sales associate for almost 4 years. Here I had multiple roles within the same store.
I’ve worked as a receptionist at a car rental company, where I was the primary contact between the company and the customers.
I’ve also worked as a waitress and barista at a cafe in central Copenhagen.

SoMe
I have a big interest in social media. As mentioned I love taking photos, and I enjoy maintaining social media accounts. At my cafe job this was also apart of my job.
I do not have a degree in the subject, but I hope to get one in the future.

Dance
I used to be a competitive dancer for almost 8 years, and danced in a total of 11 years. Not only did I compete, but I used to teach kids from the age of 6-10.
