Description
We love exploring the outdoors together, hiking, surfing, snowboarding, you name it! We've just finished working a ski season at Falls Creek in Victoria, Australia and we are ready for our next adventure. We are heading to Japan in December (2025) and we are eager to find work that allows us to live at a ski resort and experience the Japanese culture.

I (Emily) have a degree in Environmental Science (Wildlife and Conservation Biology) and have experience working for an environmental consultant as an aquatic biologist for 2 years when I lived in Canada. I was required to hike or quad into the forest to assess fresh water streams for trout habitat. Additionally, I have worked in hospitality (cafes, bars, pubs, restaurants) for nearly 3 years and have another 4 years experience working in retail. My most recent position I was the supervisor at Huski restaurant at Falls Creek ski resort in Victoria, Australia.
Mike grew up on a dairy farm in rural Victoria and is qualified diesel mechanic who has worked in this field for 5 years. He has worked on a range of vehicles and equipment and has a knack for fixing anything that breaks. Recently Mike worked as a porter at Falls Creek ski resort in Victoria, Australia driving guests in an oversnow vehicle and light maintenance around the hotel.
