Hello!
I'm Ellie, I'm 28 and from the UK. After 5 years spent in corporate London, I have just spent the winter working and skiing in the French Alps and am now looking for some workaway opportunities for the summer! I'm outdoorsy adventurous yes person, who is happiest when in the mountains or by the beach!
I have a host of experience in marketing / communications / social media & content creation and general administration so would love a workaway where I can contribute some of these skills. I am also good all rounder who can help with households task, childcare, outdoors tasks and cultural exchange. I have previously worked in in the Indian Himalayas on an artificial glacier project, voluenteered in Iceland on hiking trail maintenance and on a water sanitation project in Nicaragua. I have also been fortunate enough to travel across South East Asia and Europe.
I'm a grafter who is happy to get stuck in and have a good time whilst doing it! Hobbies include skiing, hiking, cycling, camping, climbing, surfing.... basically anything outdoors.

I have 6+ years working in marketing / communications / social media roles in various sustainability and renewable energy focussed companies. Skills include social media content creation, account management, basic video and photo editing, SEO, google analytics, copywriting, wordpress websites and blog creation. I enjoy creating and strengthening brand identities and growing their community. I also have good organisation / administration skills so work well in reception / front of house type roles.
Aside from marketing skills, i'm a good generalist in terms of outdoorsy help, in the garden or around the home or with kids. I have also travelled a lot and stayed in many hostels so happy to help here too!
