Hi, I'm Ella! My home is Hamburg, Germany, where I just finished my Bachelor's degree in political science. I now have three months to travel Aotearoa, New Zealand. I love spending time abroad and to get to know new landscapes and people. That is why I like doing Workaways.
Even though I generally am a calm person, I enjoy discussing a lot and love to discover new perspectives and opinions!

I have some 'Workaway experience', as you can call it, which means that I am familiar with doing various jobs and adjusting to my host's schedule.
I enjoy gardening a lot and I have experience in growing and taking care of plants. I have recently worked on transforming a garden and therefore am able to handle different kinds of tools. Growing my own plants, digging in the ground, that is what makes me happy somehow :) I am also able to do minor construction works and am keen on new building projects.
I do not have any pets, but I like animals a lot! From previous Workaway stays I have some experience dealing with dogs, donkeys, goats and sheep.
For me, cooking is the perfect round-up for an exhausting day. I have some 'old time classics', but also like to experiment with recipies from time to time. Also, cooking brings people together, because food is just something to share.
Finally, I have some language skills that I would love to share. My mothertongue is German and I have some advanced knowledge in French and a little knowledge in Spanish. I am very interested in learning new languages and am happy to teach as well! My English is not flawless, but fluent, and I am open to communicate in any possible way - hands, feet, whatever ;)
