Hello! We're Ida and Elizabeth, two best friends from Australia embarking on a gap year in 2025!
Ida has just finished her geographical science degree and Elizabeth is one and a half years away from finishing medical school and we've decided we desperately want to travel and see the world before getting tied down with full-time work.
We love the outdoors and are hoping to engage in some meaningful and sustainable volunteer work. We want to learn and experience different cultures and try our best to pick up some new language skills!

Ida is highly organised, a great cook, loves to hike and can talk about rock formations and volcanos all day! She previously volunteered with the Australian Wildlife Conservancy helping with habitat restoration in western New South Wales. Elizabeth loves to draw, read, go camping and is great at cleaning - especially when she should be studying instead! She previously volunteered as a local firefighter in her hometown.
We haven't done a work-a-way before, but are willing to try just about anything, though we would love to work outdoors!

We loved our stay with Ercan on his farm. We had autonomy to complete the daily tasks, comfortable accommodation, and many opportunities to explore the island and visit the beautiful swimming spots. İ Hostel İda&Elizabeth for 10days and they are lovely people with good work ethic they did all the tasks i gave them.And they cooked the best meat pie off my life:) İ recommend them to all hosts.

We recently spent ten days with Kat and Kiljan at their acro church in Hettstedt and we had the best time! They were the most lovely people and we had a lot of fun together.
