Kia ora! My name is Elizabeth (Elise for short) and I'm from New Zealand.

I’m passionate about environmental conservation and bringing people together through nature. I enjoy tramping and various outdoor sports - any way I can get outside I'm happy.

I’ve been involved in various community projects helping with native bird conservation, guiding, and predator control, and I've recently finished my degree in Applied Conservation and Management. Now, I’m excited to see how communities around the world approach sustainability and conservation! I can't wait to connect with others and hear their stories.

I have a Bachelors conjoint degree in Applied Conservation and Management and have a lot of experience with community-led environmental conservation projects. I also volunteer at an organic community garden—I love getting my hands dirty and working outside!

Had a fantastic week with the McCalebs in beautiful Canterbury! I felt welcomed into the family from day one. From cracking walnuts to baking cakes together - laughter, interesting conversations, and great music in the kitchen was always a highlight.
