Hi, we are Elias (from Finland) and Georgia (from Jersey in the UK).

We have been lucky enough to adventure, surf and volunteer our way up the coast from Peru to Central America after taking a year off work. We loved completing our last Workaway experience helping the community, meeting new people, and sharpening our Spanish-speaking skills.

Main Skills:
- We are both friendly, outgoing and have great people skills. This includes dealing with customers or working together in a team to complete a project.
- We both love exploring nature, saying hello to all of the animals, and learning about new wildlife.
- We both genuinely love to cook.
- We are active and like to surf as much as we can and enjoy yoga (which Georgia has also taught at school and summer clubs). We definitely don't shy away from physical work!
- We are super handy, resourceful and great at problem-solving and building. Elias was the go-to man for fixing the machinery in his laboratory and Georgia has completed a full van conversion on her own (including competent carpentry and installing electricity).
- Georgia is creative and skilled in painting, drawing and creating. She previously designed and assembled the decorations for a small music festival in her hometown all from recycled material (including a lit-up, hanging, fire-breathing dragon above the dance floor).
- We are both incredibly quick to learn and enjoy figuring out new things!

Elias is a research Chemist, concentrating on solving the sustainability issues in the textile industry by refining a new process to recycle cotton fibre. He will be working online remotely for one night a week of meetings (due to the time difference) and may be working on this project online during his free time.

Previously living in Malaysia and working at an International School, Georgia is a qualified Biology teacher and oversaw the care of an entire year group of students. As a student she has even travelled to Ecuador while at university to volunteer in the cloud forest near Quito, using camera trap data to estimate the spectacled bear population.
